Painter and teacher, born in Dundee. He attended Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen under Robert Henderson Blyth; Patrick Allan-Fraser School of Art, Hospitalfield, Arbroath; and Aberdeen College of Education, winning an Italian Government Scholarship in 1971. Showed SSA, RSA and elsewhere in Scotland, Scottish Arts Council holding his work. Taught for some time at Mackie Academy, Stonehaven, Kincardineshire. Lived in Montrose, Angus.
