(bapt. Danzig [now Gdańsk], 27 Aug. 1634; bur. London, 1 Aug. 1692). British engraver and draughtsman. He was born in Poland, of Anglo-Scottish descent, and moved to London in the late 1650s. He is best known for his topographical books on the universities, Oxonia Illustrata (1675) and Cantabrigia Illustrata (1690), but he also made sensitive portrait drawings.
