Painter who drew inspiration from euphoric advertisements in old National Geographic magazines, as in his entry exhibited at John Moores Liverpool Exhibition, 1999. Liversidge was born in Lincoln, studying at Cumbria College of Art and Design, Carlisle, 1992–3, and University of Plymouth, Exeter, 1993–6. He shared a show at Beak Gallery, Dublin, Ireland, 1998, solo exhibitions including A22 Projects, 1998, Timothy Everest, 1999, and The West at Richard Salmon, 2003. Liversidge was involved in mail art. One of his biggest triumphs was successfully to mail from Exeter to London all 26 pieces, separate and unwrapped, of a school chair. The mailed chair was exhibited at The Spacex Gallery, Exeter. Paul E Stolper represented the artist.
