Winifred Leveritt [also known as Winifred Godbold Leveritt] was born in Winifred Hulbert in London, England in 1879. It is not known where she trained as an artist. She was active as a sculptor in London between the 1920s and the 1940s. She married Percy Godbold Leveritt (1881-1960), an insurance clerk, in 1907. She participated in the 15th exhibition of the Arts & Crafts Exhibition Society at the Royal Academy in London in 1931. She also exhibited in the Summer Exhibitions at the Royal Academy from 1930 to 1940; and at the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts. Her address was given as 92 Whitworth Road, South Norwood, Surrey in 1911; 70C Boundary Road, London in 1930 and 1931; 5 De Vere Gardens, Kensington, London in 1933 and 1940.
