Painter, draughtsman and printmaker noted for her exuberant brushwork and colours. She was educated at Preston Polytechnic (Lancaster Annexe), 1975–6, then in the fine art department of Liverpool Polytechnic, 1976–9. She appeared in the Merseyside Artists exhibitions from 1983, toured by Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, having shown in Stowells Trophy Exhibition at RA in 1979. Gained a Unilever Artists in Residence placement in 1986 and took part in educational activities such as a schools project at Bromborough Pool. Had a first solo show at Williamson Art Gallery and Museum, Birkenhead, 1989–90, and it holds examples, including Aviary – Ocean Park, Hong Kong. Lived at Great Asby, Appleby, Cumbria.
