Abstract artist and teacher, born in Eberswalde, Germany, who gained an honours degree under Terry Frost at Reading University’s fine art department, 1972–6, winning the Owen Ridley Prize. Gained her master’s degree in fine art from Goldsmiths’ College, 1990–2. Taught for many years: at Reading, also at Falmouth and St Martin’s Schools of Art. Exhibitions included New Contemporaries at Camden Arts Centre, 1975; John Moores Liverpool Exhibition, 1976; Whitechapel Open at Whitechapel Gallery from 1981; New Acquaintances at Fabian Carlsson Gallery, 1986; Chisenhale Studios, 1988; and Bedford Gallery, 1995, as well as extensively in Germany. Arts Council, Portsmouth City Art Gallery and Reading University hold examples. Lived and worked in Berlin and London.
