Painter, textile artist and teacher, born in Devil’s Bridge, Cardiganshire. She was educated at Cardiff College of Art, then began a career in teaching which included experience in London, at Swansea College of Art and in Dyfed. In the mid-1970s with her husband she began a summer school in the visual arts at Felinfach Art Centre and College of Further Education, Dyfed. She did television work in Welsh. A member of the 56 Group, she also took part in group shows at Howard Roberts Gallery in Cardiff, Royal National Eisteddfod and elsewhere. Solo shows included WAC, Oriel, Cardiff, and a major one at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, 2001, which included ceiling-hung installations. Lived in Llandysul, Dyfed.
