Painter and sculptor, born in Liverpool, who qualified as a barrister but decided to pursue art as a career. He studied at Westminster School of Art and South Kensington Art School and in Paris at Académie Julian and Atelier Colarossi. Travelled widely, latterly living in Exmouth, Devon. Showed at Leicester Galleries, RA, London and Paris Salons and elsewhere. A group of his watercolours was shown at The Jerram Gallery, Salisbury, 1993.
