Owner of The Joel Gallery in Mousehole, Cornwall, Judy Joel began painting in the 1970s following a career at the BBC. In 2024, she was commissioned to design a set of Christmas stamps for Royal Mail depicting cathedrals in Armagh, Bangor, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Westminster.
