
Prolific landscape painter and businessman, born in London where he ran the printing and publishing firm Chas F Ince and Sons. He studied at King’s College and art with the landscapist Henry Moon. He was a member of RI and RBA, in which he held senior positions, and of Chelsea Arts Club. Also showed at ROI, RWS, Fine Art Society, Goupil Gallery, Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and elsewhere. Lived latterly in Purbrook, Hampshire.
