Belfast, Northern Ireland, businessman, born in Drogheda, County Wexford, who took up painting in his thirties. Studied part-time at Government School of Design and privately with the landscape and flower artist David Gould. Harvey was a member and president of Ulster Arts Club and a member of Belfast Art Society, also showing at Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool and RHA. Ulster Museum holds his work.
