
Painter and calligrapher who was educated at Westonbirt School, Gloucestershire, eventually settling in the county at Upper Slaughter. After a brief period of study in Italy with landscape and flower painter Aubrey Waterfield Hornby attended Byam Shaw School of Drawing and Painting, 1934–40, teachers including Francis Ernest Jackson. She was a member of the Art Workers’ Guild and NEAC, also showing with RA, RWA and RBA.
