Painter and teacher who studied at Hornsey School of Art, after attending London University, his teachers being Adrian Hill and John Charles Moody. Exhibited ROI, RBA, NEAC and RA. Lived in Enfield, Middlesex. Hitchcock was involved in the design of his house including a series of stained glass windows, some abstract, which remained intact after his death.
