Versatile artist, output including drawings and wire sculptures, born in London. She studied at Wimbledon and Camberwell Schools of Art before graduating in natural history illustration from the Royal College of Art in 1998. Haste showed widely in Britain, undertook several commissions and was included in London Underground’s A New Platform for Art, 2000. Animals were Haste’s exclusive source of inspiration, much of her time being spent drawing them in close proximity in Britain and abroad. In 1999, she received the BBC Wildlife Magazine Art Award. She had a solo exhibition at Beaux Arts, Bath, in 2001.
