Landscape painter in watercolour and tempera, especially of Sussex scenes. Educated in Littlehampton, Harris went on to exhibit at RA, Cooling Galleries, RBA and elsewhere, public galleries in Eastbourne, Hove and Accrington buying his work. His picture Moonrise was reproduced by the Medici Society. Was a member of the Association of Sussex Art Clubs and Brighton Art Club. Lived in Washington, Sussex.
