Painter, born in Bradford and a member of the Arts Club there. He studied at Bradford School of Art, 1915–17, his teachers including Fred Stead. Exhibited widely in Yorkshire, including Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield, and did some magazine illustrating. Lived for many years at Bingley, Yorkshire.
