Topographical painter and illustrator, daughter of the artist Edward Halliday, born and lived in London. She studied at Royal Academy Schools, 1953–8. Her work was reproduced in books published by Hutchinson & Company and Ginn & Company. She was made a member of RBA in 1960, NEAC in 1961 and RWS in 1976, also showing with RSMA and elsewhere. A solo show at Sally Hunter Fine Art in 1998 celebrated Halliday’s love of architecture.
