Sculptor in various materials and teacher who attended Kingston School of Art, 1969–71. He held a number of part-time teaching posts, including Harrow School of Art, Essex and Brunel Universities. Had a solo show at Sunderland Arts Centre in 1982. Arts Council holds a selection of stylised figurative works by Grimwood, who has Large Rabbit and Figure in a Pond, both 1980, in the Grizedale Forest collection, Cumbria.
