Architectural and landscape painter. Born at Nelson, Lancashire, he studied at the Lancashire School of Art and at Goldsmiths’ College School of Art under Edmund Sullivan. Exhibited RA, RBA, RI, RSA and Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool. Lived at St Ives, Cornwall. Manchester City Art Gallery holds his work.
