Sculptor, born in London, educated at Harrow School. He studied in Paris with Adolphe Bouguereau and in the late 1880s at the Royal Academy Schools, where he won the Landseer award in 1890. In 1899 he was Boer War correspondent in South Africa for the Daily Express. Exhibited RA extensively, also RI, ROI, Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and Paris Salon. Southampton Art Gallery holds his work. Lived at Twyford, Hampshire.
