Marine artist, born and died in London, father of the painter Christopher Glanville. He studied at Hammersmith School of Art. Glanville was elected to RSMA in 1950 and to RBA in 1954, and was a member of Wapping Group of Artists. Also showed at RA and was a De Laszlo Medal winner. Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, holds his work.
