Painter, born in Didcot, Berkshire. He studied in Paris at Atelier Colarossi, 1949–50. Went on to show with Archer Gallery, O’Hana Gallery, Piccadilly Gallery, in Paris and the English provinces, Molton Gallery, with the dealer Lucy Wertheim who owned his work, and at Sussex University, which gave him a retrospective in 1962–3. The University commissioned him to execute large painting for its main hall in 1962. He also carried out work in 1959 for Georgian Club, in London, and in the same year designed an exhibition combining modern fabrics and paintings for Cotton Board of Great Britain, in Manchester, which was shown in Australia and New Zealand. Johannesburg University and Arts Council hold his work, which included heavily stylised female nudes.
