Artist, born in Larne, Northern Ireland, who settled there in Ballygalley, County Antrim. He studied at Belfast College of Art, 1962–6, then Hornsey College of Art, 1966–7, attending the British School at Rome, 1970–1, under an Arts Council of Northern Ireland Rome Scholarship. Took part in many group shows, including Learning Design, WAC tour, 1968; 8 Northern Ireland Artists, Third Eye Centre in Glasgow, 1977; Photo Realism, Orchard Gallery in Londonderry, 1979; Boxed Show, Artsite Gallery, Bath, 1986; and RHA, October Exhibition, invited artist, 1991. Had a solo show with Arts Council Gallery in Belfast, 1961, later ones including Project Arts Centre, Dublin, 1992.
