Stage designer, artist in acrylic and oil on board and gouache on paper, and teacher, born in Athens, Greece. He studied at Slade School of Fine Art, 1953–5, with Robert Medley, later teaching there. Worked substantially for leading ballet, opera and theatre companies as a set and costume designer. Georgiadis won the Evening Standard Ballet Award in 1982, the Karolos Koun Prize, Athens, 1988. The Theatre Museum holds his work. Showed at Documenta, Kassel; Venice Biennale; and Carnegie Exhibition, Pittsburgh. He had solo exhibitions at Redfern and Hamilton Galleries and elsewhere in London, where he lived, and in Milan and Athens.
