Painter, commercial draughtsman and teacher, born in London. Studied at Bradford School of Art. Exhibited RA, RBA, RI and widely in the provinces. Was a member of Croydon Art Society; Langham Sketch Club, of which for a time he was chairman; and the Wapping Group of Artists, of which he was president. Lived at Addiscombe, Surrey.
