Painter and teacher who was born and continued to work in London. She attended Slade School of Fine Art, 1979–83, obtaining a first-class honours degree. In 1983 she won a Boise Travel Scholarship to Italy, the year following gaining an RA British Institution Fund Award. Taught art and history of art at Dulwich College part-time, 1985–7, then conducted a private drawing class. Fiennes showed in Christie’s Pick of Graduate Art in 1983, two years later appearing in a watercolour show at Alpine Gallery. Other mixed exhibitions included Agnew Young Contemporaries in 1988 and John Player Portrait Award in 1989. In 1990 Fiennes shared a show at Cadogan Contemporary, having a solo exhibition there in 1992 and one of Oman and Uzbekistan pictures at Grosvenor Gallery, 1999.
