Painter of still life in the manner of the Dutch Old Masters, born in London. He moved to Bath, Somerset, where he was educated and attended the School of Art, later Bower Ashton College, Bristol. Early in his career he visited Italy to study Renaissance painting, followed by frequent trips to Amsterdam and Rotterdam to learn about local seventeenth-century pictures. Showed at the RWA, in the Bath area, including the Contemporary Art Fair (with Boundary Gallery) and Anthony Hepworth Fine Art, and shared an exhibition at the Bishopsgate Institute. The Landmark Trust commissioned a Bath scene and Chelsea & Westminster Hospital holds his work.
