
Landscape painter, born in Birmingham. Educated there and at Liscard Art School, Wallasey. Exhibited prolifically at Fine Art Society and Walker’s Galleries, at both having one-man shows, also at RA, RCamA, RI and RHA. Father of the artists Frank and Lucy Egginton. Victoria & Albert Museum, Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, several other English provincial galleries and the public gallery in Auckland, New Zealand, hold his work. Lived in Teignmouth, Devon.
