Artist who was born and lived in London. He studied at City & Guilds School of Art, 1973–4; Kingston Polytechnic, 1974–7; and at Syracuse University, New York, 1978–80. He held a first solo exhibition at Syracuse in 1979, after which he had one-man shows in Berlin, Zürich, New York and London, where Nicola Jacobs Gallery exhibited him for a time. Later solo shows included Jason & Rhodes Gallery, 1995. In 1987 Edmondson was included in The Self Portrait: A Modern View tour, originating at Artsite Gallery, Bath.
