Artist who produced paint-based work with references to architecture and film. She was born in Krajina, Serbia, but was brought up in Canada, where she gained a fine arts honours degree from York University, Toronto, 1984–8. She was artist-in-residence, advanced studies programme, Dundas Valley School of Art, Dundas, Ontario, 1988–90, then obtained a master’s in painting, Royal College of Art, 1990–2. Was resident in Britain from 1998, after several years in San Francisco. She won a series of awards, including a Stanley Picker Fellowship, Kingston University, 1992–4. Dragicevic took part in extensive group exhibitions internationally, including Blind Date, Clove Two Gallery, 1993; Whitechapel Open, Whitechapel Art Gallery, 1994; East Coast West Coast, 168 Haight, San Francisco, America, 1996; Cheltenham Drawing Open 1998, Cheltenham & Gloucester College, Cheltenham, 1998; The Chinese Room, Void Gallery, 1999; and Doubles II – with Artlab, Jeffrey Charles Gallery, 2002.
