Landscape painter, born in Sussex, who received much of his early training from his grandfather, an English Impressionist artist. In 1975, he settled with his family in a rural valley near Dartmouth, Devon, and began to paint full time. From the late 1980s he shared his time between studios in Devon and the south of France, painting subjects drawn from rural and Mediterranean France and Italy. His watercolours were shown at the Simon Drew, John Gillo and Andras Kaldor Galleries in Dartmouth, his oil paintings at Omell Galleries and he participated in Artists in Dartmouth.
