Painter, born in Glasgow, who studied at the University of Central England, Birmingham, 1989–92, and Royal College of Art, 1995–7. She won the Christie’s and Deloitte and Touche Awards in 1997. Her 1998 picture Mobile Home was included in East International at Norwich School of Art & Design, 1999, the year she won a prize at John Moores Liverpool Exhibition. In 2003 Donachie was included in Prague Biennale 1, Peripheries Become the Center, Veletrzni Palac, Prague, Czech Republic. Maureen Paley/Interim Art and Artist Space, New York, America, both gave Donachie solo shows. Lived in London.
