Painter and teacher, born in Newcastle upon Tyne. He studied at St Martin’s School of Art, 1968–9, Maidstone College of Art, 1969–71 and Slade School of Fine Art, 1972–4, followed by a Cheltenham Fellowship, 1974–5. He then went on to appear nationally in group shows, including John Moores Exhibition, Liverpool, in 1976, 1989 and 1991–2, when he was a prizewinner. He had solo shows at Castlefield Gallery, Manchester, 1988, Todd Gallery, 1989, and deliART, 2001, abstract works showing the influence of his stay in Zimbabwe, 1990. Dellow was also an Athena Awards prizewinner in 1988. Was head of painting at Kingston Polytechnic. Public and private collections hold examples. Lived in London.
