Painter and sculptor, born and lived in London. He studied at Brighton Polytechnic, 1978–81, Chelsea School of Art, 1981–2, in 1982 won a one-year Rome Scholarship in sculpture and in 1984 a Mark Rothko Travel Award to America. Arts Council holds his acrylic on paper Tall and Old, bought from Air Gallery, 1983. Also in 1983 de Thame showed at Hayward Gallery; in 1984 at Riverside Studios; and in 1985 at Nicola Jacobs Gallery and John Moores Liverpool Exhibition, where he was a prizewinner.
