Painter, born in Jamaica. He studied at Leeds College of Art, 1978–9, graduating at Wimbledon College of Art, 1979–82, gaining his master’s degree at Chelsea School of Art, 1982–3. Among his group shows were Christie’s Inaugural, 1983; Turnpike Gallery, Leigh, Greater Manchester, 1987; Basel and London Art Fairs, 1986; and Smiths Galleries, 1988. Showed solo with Angela Flowers Gallery from 1986, with a one-man at Woodlands Art Gallery, 1990. Worked in Greenwich Artists’ Studios. Daley worked on a large scale, figurative pictures tending towards abstraction.
