Abstract artist and teacher, born in New York, America, who studied at Edinburgh College of Art, 1969–71, Central School of Art and Design, 1971–4, then Chelsea School of Art, 1974–5. As well as doing a range of jobs, from working in an art gallery to time as a waitress, she taught part-time, including Newcastle Polytechnic and St Martin’s School of Art. Showed with LG, Angela Flowers and Air Galleries and in Summer Show 2 at Serpentine Gallery, 1981. Solo shows included The Gallery, Acre Lane, 1980, later ones Aimee in Galashiels and other paintings, Flowers East, 1995, and James in Limbo, Peer, 2003.
