Artist, born in Thornbury, Gloucestershire, who studied at Sunderland Polytechnic, 1986–9. In 1991 he took part in Granada Celebration, Albert Dock, Liverpool, and in 6 Manchester Artists at Castlefield Gallery, Manchester, in 1993–4 being included in John Moores Liverpool Exhibition. Had a first solo show at Chapman Gallery, Salford, in 1993, large abstracts at Mappin Art Gallery, Sheffield, 2000, and Found Paintings at Pump House Gallery, 2003. In that year he curated Beyond the Endgame: Abstract Painting in Manchester at the city’s Art Gallery. Lived in Manchester.
