William John Connon (b.1929)

Art & Heritage Collections, Robert Gordon University
Painter, draughtsman and teacher, born in Turriff, Aberdeenshire. He studied at Gray’s school of Art in Aberdeen, his teachers including Ian Fleming and Robert Henderson Blyth. He later taught at that school and lived in Aberdeen. Was a member of SSA, also showing with Aberdeen Art Society and RSA. Scottish Arts Council holds his work.
