Sculptor in various materials, born in Woking, Surrey. She attended Sherborne School for Girls and gained her art tuition privately, watercolour painting with William T Wood and sculpture with Enid Fenton Smith. Went on to complete a number of publicly sited works: in churches and schools in the Home Counties. Examples are to be found in churches at Monks Risborough, Buckinghamshire, and Sonning Common, Berkshire. Sometimes signed work M M C. Lived at Askett, Buckinghamshire.
