Sculptor in a variety of materials, and teacher, born in London. He studied at Slade School of Fine Art, 1946–9, with Randolph Schwabe, later becoming senior lecturer in sculpture there. Exhibited NEAC, RBA, LG, in the provinces and the Netherlands. His work is to be found decorating a number of British buildings as well as in Lagos Cathedral, Nigeria. He was a fellow of the RBS and lived in Battle, Sussex.
