Painter and artist in mixed media, born in Manchester, who was married to the artist Richard Weisbrod. She studied in London for five years, notably with Iain Macnab at Grosvenor School of Modern Art. She exhibited in London and Manchester, then her career was interrupted by World War II forces service. Appeared in group exhibitions put on by Lucy Wertheim and was influenced by the work of Chagall and Christopher Wood; showed at Mid-Day Studios and with Manchester Group and at Great House Gallery near Bolton. Had solo shows in London, Manchester and Winnipeg in Canada. The circus and landscape were leading features of her pictures, which are held by Blackburn and Salford Art Galleries. Lived latterly in Vaud, Switzerland.
