Yorkshire-born sculptor in stone and metal and teacher for a time at Exeter College of Art. He won the Leeds Gold Medal for sculpture in 1973 and was a fellow of RBS. Exhibited in RA Summer Exhibition. Public work includes carvings on Exeter Cathedral and stone reliefs at Queen’s Gardens in Kingston-upon-Hull. Lived for a time in Lympstone, Devon.
