Painter in watercolour, who died in about his eightieth year. Was a greengrocer and self-taught flower painter of professional standard who showed locally in the Horsham, Sussex, area where he lived, his work always being in demand. He was said to have declined a contract with the dealer Frost & Reed, which could have given him a national name.
