Sculptor, ceramics artist and teacher, born in Newport, Monmouthshire. He studied at Newport College of Art, 1952–6, and the Royal College of Art, 1956–9, then aided by two government scholarships worked in Belgium and Sweden. Went on to become senior lecturer at Newport College. Participated in group shows at Piccadilly Gallery, Demarco Gallery in Edinburgh and widely in Wales, including Royal National Eisteddfod, Howard Roberts Gallery in Cardiff, and WAC, which holds his work. One-man shows included Howard Roberts and Keele University, Staffordshire. Included in WAC touring exhibition of drawings The Probity of Art in 1980.
