Painter in oil and watercolour, born in Salisbury, Wiltshire. He studied under Austin Garland at Lincoln School of Art. Showed at Foyles Gallery and in the provinces. From 1927–70 he showed with the Lincolnshire Artists’ Society at the Usher Gallery, Lincoln, being the Society’s chairman and deputy chairman at times in the late 1940s/early 1950s. Usher Gallery holds two watercolours by him: Romance; and Farmstead, Donington on Bain. He lived in Lincoln.
