Painter in oil and watercolour of still life, figures and landscapes, sometimes with a pattern element, who aged 17 gained a scholarship to Hornsey School of Art. She began by carrying out small commissions and illustrations for newspapers. Was a member of RI and ROI, also exhibiting at RA, SWA, RSA and with the Industrial Painters Group, and gained an Hon. Mention at the Paris Salon. Many of her flower paintings and some of her portraits were reproduced. In 1997, Christie’s South Kensington included a group of Bridge’s pictures in a Modern British sale.
