Artist and teacher, born in Wolverhampton. After education there and in Newcastle he held a series of teaching posts, including Bath Academy of Art and Chelsea School of Art. A versatile artist, he participated in many group shows, including John Moores Exhibition in Liverpool, SEA, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Piccadilly and Rowan Galleries and New Art Centre. He also did graphic work for Editions Alecto; was commissioned by the BBC to design Façade, which was performed at the Barber Institute, Birmingham, and in Cheltenham at the Music Festival; and his sculpture Nativity was completed for Bangor Cathedral. One-man shows included University College of North Wales, Bangor. WAC holds his work.
