Painter, born in Hastings, Sussex. He studied at University of Newcastle, 1973–6, then Chelsea School of Art, 1975–6. Exhibited in groups in Britain and America, and was included in John Moores Liverpool Exhibition from 1976, his oil Car and Hand winning a prize in 1985. Boston was a frequent exhibitor in the Whitechapel Open at Whitechapel Art Gallery from 1978 and in 1989 participated in East End Open Studios, at Carpenter’s Road. Had a solo exhibition at Serpentine Gallery in 1975, another at Chisenhale Gallery, 1988. Arts Council holds his work. Lived for a time in London.
