Painter and draughtsman, born in Sutton Maddock, Shropshire. She studied at at Birmingham School of Art, Chelsea School of Art and the Herkomer School, Bushey. Married to artist Ernest Borough Johnson. Among her several books on painting is Flower Painting in Oil. Exhibited RA, RI, RMS, Goupil Gallery and Paris Salon. Signed work E B J in monogram form. Lived in London.
