Gallery Oldham
Painter and draughtsman, born in Manchester, where he continued to live. Attended Manchester School of Art and showed regularly at MAFA, serving on the selection committee for its centenary exhibition; also exhibited at Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, the Mid-Day Studios in Manchester and other northern shows. Manchester City Art Gallery holds his An Aran Village; An Aran Landscape; The Church, Inishmaan; Portrait of a Cat; and A Suburban Landscape, all in Bold’s typically precise style.
